Default The Best Thing I Ever Ate

That's the show we (mostly Pa) just watched on TV. It got me thinking. Actually, it made me hungry. I take such questions seriously, so I'll have to give it some thought. I'm not very good at "best" or "favorite". I can think of ten things right off the top of my head. What about you? What is the best thing you ever ate?

The best thing I ever ate is hands down the maple creme brûlée from LeSur steakhouse in Disney World's Canada in Epcot. Don't even have to think about that one LOL. I've had it only twice in my life and I still crave it to the point of needing to talk myself out of the 5 hour drive and admission costs on a near daily basis for the past ten years since the first time I had it

Perfect timing for this question! I joined Weight Watchers online today.

I think the best thing I ever ate was my Mom's vegetable beef soup. It's always been my favorite for any meal.....even breakfast!

Try as I might I cannot duplicate the taste of her soup. I think it's true that some things are just better because of the person that made it.

My grandmother and my mom used to make roast beef and potato dumplings with a sour cream sauce, never any leftovers!

the first time I ever had a s'more.

first time I ever ate prime rib.

my favorite great-uncle's spaghetti sauce...every time he made it for me.

caramel apples.

rum nougat chocolate candy from the nut's & chews box of See's chocolate candy.

I bought my mom a box of See's candy last week from Amazon. It should be here in a couple of days. I told my mom that the rum nougat's in the box (there should be two, it's a 2 pound box) are mine. She shares the candy with us every year when I buy her a box for either her birthday or christmas.
