Here too. It only got up to 36° for a bit, started raining, temp started dropping and now it's snaining. Can't win!

A long time ago, when Tom McCall was governor of Oregon, there were these two college students who came up with an anti-tourism slogan campaign to prevent the huge influx of people moving to Oregon.

It was hilarious. Sally's comment about webbed feet reminded me of it!

Some of the more memorable slogans were:

How can you tell an Oregonian: We have webbed feet.

4964 Oregonians fell off their bikes last year and drowned.

We don't tan, we rust.

Take a vacation. Go to Wyoming.

There were posters, postcards, bumper stickers, t-shirts, etc. These two college kids made a fortune on this campaign!

saying Can"t Connect the name is wrong.
