My favorite things? Lots!

I've found everyone here to be very friendly and helpful for starters. I am sure that having so many new members all at once was a tad overwhelming but everyone made us feel so welcome.

I didn't know about the HUGE PM limit but thanks for the heads up. Yes, I can be a packrat!

The emoticons - wow is all I can say!

I love the variety of boards to choose from. I like having all my needs - serious and not so serious - met at one website.

I could go on and on...but I'm at work and break time is over.

I'm happy to see all the new faces. It got lonely here at times before, eh Sally?

I like that it is an international site, so newbies will find their way here.

I LOVE that Doc John is responsive to requests, that he is very much a part of the community, and that he is an extremely reasonable man to deal with. I was fortunate to have established a relationship with him in the early days, and he is truly genuine, caring and kind person.

The mods are very committed to their "jobs" and I admire them for that. Some of them barely sleep, I'm sure, as they seem to be here 24 X 7.

Oh gosh, I could spend all day just listing my all favorite things about this place.

Doc John and the Mods would have to top the list - they are awesome.

This site is SO organized - one of my favorite ways to be!! It's big but it's easy to navigate around. Not confusing at all.

All the members are so nice - welcomed us in with open arms without a cross word spoken. What a special bunch of people you all are!

The smilies are great - so many to choose from and some are so funny - I smile just looking at them!!

The "moods", the "thanks" feature. Being able to edit UP TO A DAY LATER!!! Are ya kidding me??? That's great!!

OK - I think I'm done. I'm sure I'll think of more later......and hey!! I can still edit my post when I do!!!

**can you tell I like it here??**

2. The smilies
3. The feature
4. All the different boards available
5. All the old friends who have come here & all the new ones we're meeting

Thank you to Doc John for opening up his heart and NT home to us.
DM! How could you! You didn't put ME on your list...

You hurt my feelings

This place became my home a few months ago too and I love the way it is so professionally run, the bells and whistles , and the people here! It's a small community and that's great! I agree with DM (oh geez did I say that - well she's on vacation so she won't see this for a while!

DocJohn and the mods -- thank you!

Now where's those cookies? Did someone eat them all????

. . .I simply remember my favorite things, and then I don't feel so bad."

OK, maybe not Mary Poppins but same actress. I saw the thread title and that song popped in my head and won't get out. UGH! Thanks AMN. LOL

1. The DocJohn and the moderators for being so understanding and patient as us newbies run around this place like a bunch of kindergarteners. So much to see and learn.

2. The warm welcome we have all received.

3. The amount of information within this site, not just things MS related. Quite awesome and impressive.

4. Meeting up with old friends I thought I had lost and making new ones.

I'm brand new so don't have alot to say yet but I haven't found a forum that I have felt like home at in awhile. I see lots of old friends here & got a great welcome. Really glad I found this place.

One of the things I'm really impressed by is how much information & forums this site has. I'm one of those that have been diagnosed with MS & undiagnosed so many times I've lost count. Since all that started for me, I felt very uncomfortable at another site because I just didn't feel I belonged ..... well, I did the diagnosed months but on my you have something else months, I didn't. Not sure if that made any sense.

I think alot of us develop other conditions as well (I confess, mine are because I'm a steroid junkie!) I've developed diabetes, osteoporosis & a couple of other things the last few years so it's great to pop into those forums as well.

Oh yeah....love the smilies! Looking forward to getting to know you guys better.

It seems to be a mellow board! Always works for me! 500 PM`s great! like I had to delete and make room , that makes it hard to keep track!

New peoples! Old friends! Fun!
