I spent some time cleaning up the studio today after my weekend opening and got home just in time to catch 60 Minutes special on the new video out about Natalie Holloway's disappearance. I feel so bad for her Mom.

This whole story is so sobering. Here I am dealing with MS and thinking my situation pales in comparison to the pain and suffering this mother is going through. It's so terribly sad. I hope they bring that young man to justice for the sake of her Mom.

I guess there will always be someone who has to carry a heavier load than the next person. I'm feeling really lucky right now.

I saw the story on 20-20. 1:30 hours. Very interesting and sad. I loved how the guy spilled the beans and even implicated a guy that was not on the Island at the time. What a con. Then his lawyer said, well my client just said these things to impress (the person driving the car....sorry forget his name) because he thought he was a big time criminal and really wanted in on this MJ Growing scheme.

Everyone knows he did it. but........Money talks. His family has money and, I guess, good connections in Aruba.

Yes I feel for the parents. Every parents' nightmare.
Time will tell.

I watched it in a horrified state...to just imagine what this young girl may have gone through this last few moments of her life! I just pray that justice will be served to those involved in her death...I can't imagine what her family was going through listening to this young mans "confession" to his friend. How can someone be so callous and unfeeling in the death of another human being.

It's such a sad situation.

I like that episode of Oprah with the guy who wrote 'The Gift of Fear'. He talks about how women need to listen to that 'sixth sense'.

Forget about sex education. Why don't we teach our girls how to protect themselves. We need to stop teaching them they need to be 'nice' and instead teach them how to be discerning and aware of their surroundings.

The woman hiker in Georgia would probably be alive if she hadn't been so nice and instead was more cautious of men.

It's sad that this is what it's come to but lets get over the regrets of where our society is and start living in reality.

I hope that "boy's" parents see that story and come to their senses and set him straight. Hopefully they'll do the right thing.

I didn't catch all of the show - someone from the show must have bribed or made a deal with the driver to allow cams and recording of this ??

The man who recorded the conversations had befriended Joran and had contacted that crime reporter DeVries asking if he was interested in what he was doing to get the truth of what happened to Natalie that night. Of course, DeVries said yes, and the rest of the story is history.

IMHO, I think Jorans father, the Aruban Judge, was involved in covering for his son and possibly even participating in the disposal of Natalie's body at sea. Joran had called his father the night of the incident according to the earliest reports I had heard at the time things first came out. I think Joran is hiding the real name of his accomplice because he is protecting his father. Of course that's a theory of mine, but I think it has merit in the face of everything.

Only time will tell as this plays out. I so want justice for Natalie and her family.

That is so true. As people with MS, and especially those of us who are female, it is all the more imperative that we be protective and cautious with our personal safety. So many of us have visible handicaps, which make us easy targets for crime. I have learned from experience that being nice is not always beneficial to our safety.

All I can say, is Yes, I saw the show too, and it made me sad and sick both at the same time. That poor girl and her family.

I saw part of it. I've been following this story the entire 3 years and the interview is on Nancy Grace right now.

Every parent's worst nightmare and Joran - I believe, is an awful, horrible, terrible excuse for a human being. A sociopath - just like Scott Peterson (killed his wife Lacie) and currently that police officer Drew Peterson - a cop whose 4th wife is missing and his 3rd wife, who drowned in an "empty" bathtub.

I watch too much of this stuff...
