Oh Sandy, I thought about you today when I heard the news. I am so glad your boys are OK! I know how hard it is to be away from your child when they need you.

So terribly sad!

I, too, immediately thought of your boys. I knew they were both in college and in Illinois but wasn't sure "what" college. So glad to hear they are safe! I can't imagine how scared you were and how upset they must be.

I just don't understand why these things happen ... so much evil in this world with absolutely no respect for human life.




Glad to hear your mom is doing ok and that Jim is feeling better.

Still praying for you, Jim, your mom and family.

I'm so glad to read that your Mom is doing well after her surgery and pray that her recovery is swift and she is back to doing her regular life soon.

I'm also so sorry that your boys are going through such trauma with the shootings at school. How awful for all of you!! Hang in there. I know it's hard to be away when all this is going on. I'm just so glad the boys are safe.

OMG Sandy I just heard the news!...had a terrible reaction and have been in bed....I can't find your cell number u need to call me! I was so worried about Chris and Nic and logged on here right away! Praise Jesus they are OK! They need momma, tell them to come to Virginia...I'll feed them and take them to the beach! How is Jim? I know you both must have been terrified until you heard from them. Good Lord you need a stress break not more stress! You know mad sick crazy peopel are everywhere...and people wonder why I homeschool!

We just found out this morning that a dear friend of ours (here in Toad Hollow) had a niece killed in the shooting. I am so sad for them all.

Oh Maryann, I am so very sorry! When I read this I almost got sick. I am praying for your friends. OMG

Chris attended the vigil last night and is a mess. God please walk with our students and their families as they come to grips with this horrible tragedy.

I'm so sorry to hear this. . . . what a terrible tragedy this is. I keep hearing updates but nothing about why they think he did this.

I'm praying for all involved - these kids are dealing with a lot right now. What a sad, sad day.
