Default Bring on Spring!

I went out yesterday - it was almost 30. Heat wave!

And raked off one little flower bed. Guess what? The crocus are coming up!

Two weeks or less till they bloom.

Thought that would cheer you up - it sure cheered me up!

We are anxious for Spring too!

Even though we don't get the snow and cold temps it is still too cool for us AZ wimps!! We like it HOT!!!

We traded blizzards for lizards!

I remember when we lived in the Midwest and the crocus would bloom even in the snow but it was a positive sign that Spring would be here soon!!

To Winter weary folks seeing the crocus blooming is a beautiful sight!!

I love Spring too the birds and flowers and the grass greening up. Right now here in the Detroit area the high today was 8 degrees with a wind chill of -20 below all I did was stay inside the house and watched a movie had some hot chocolate and baked some peanut butter cookies they are sooooo good.

Although its been the usual rainy 40's here in Seattle - there are signs of spring - my daffodils are popping up and my wild irises (which are in a pot) are in bloom!

Can't wait for trees to begin to bud!

BGB, aren't you from Ohio too? I want to move to that location.

Yesterday, it was c-c-c-cold! I think the high was in the teens.

Currently, it is 0 with a wind chill of -15!! Guess I didn't realize how good I had it.

It is never going to be Spring here.....
