Default visiting Indiana and our family

Hello, my husband and I are going to Elkhart tomorrow and coming back on Monday. I can't wait to see the grandkids.

Some of you already know that they used to live 5 blocks from us then moved to Indianapolis which is 5 hours away. It was a big adjustment and I am thankful they are within driving distance.

This weekend they will be relief parents in a Children's Baptist Home in Elkhart so Papa and I will be staying in a motel but will be getting a feel for what it will be like when my son and DIL get their "own kids" in Indianapolis which should be real soon. They have been down there since June and have anxiously been awaiting getting kids placed in their home but in the meantime go from house to house in Indiana giving other house parents some relief time to travel and get away. They enjoy this but it will be nice to not have to live out of a suitcase 3/4 of the month.

When we go to their home we get to stay in the quest room but since this is not their home we are getting a motel room but that's ok, we can get up on our own schedule. Whoa, wait, that may not be so good! I get up about 2 hours earlier than my husband. Oh well, I'll just drive to where my son is and hubby can call when he's ready for the chaos of 7 kids. LOL! We have two grandkids there, a 4 yr old granddaughter and a 2 yr old grandson. I can't wait to spoil them rotten. Thankfully they love hugs!

I haven't checked the weather but hoping to see less snow there! I know in Indianapolis last week they had flooding tho.

See you in a few days!
