Chat Can a neuro even DX you with anxiety?

I only saw this guy 3 times and the only "history" he has of me is what I told him. So he says he wants me to try Cymbalta for the anxiety because he thinks that's whats causing all my SX, is that really a DX of anxiety?
I have the report from my last visit with him and it say under DX: Paresthesia, than under Discussion: The numbness she describes is nonspecific but her detailed work up including a LP, blood work, MRI has been completely unrevealing. The fact that the SX are fleeting unpredictable and to localize suggest more of a psychogenic origin than neurogenic.

On a side note at the end of our last visit my DH grilled him about firbo, he asked the Dr if he believed it was real and asked why most Dr still don't believe in it and so on and he really didn't want to talk about it. He kept most of his answers to, "no, yes, I don't know". DH and I talked when we leave the office and both got the feeling he did NOT believe in fibro.
