So beautiful to watch. We were driving home along the river and watching the events unfold.

I got to see the beginning but then clouds came in and that was all I got to see. It was cool though. Like someone took a bite out of a cookie.

I would have loved to have seen the whole thing. We rarely have clouds. Why tonight? Why? LOL.

It was beautiful here in Maine - I got up a couple of times to look at it. We got the binoculars out and looked at it - there was a star in it... it was beautiful!

It was too cloudy to see it here in Pa. I can't wait for the next one. I am going to get the kids up to see it.

Yep, I think Sarah is right that the brightest star was Saturn. I tried to look at it in my binocs but they suck. LOL The moon was cool though! I told Jim I want a telescope for my b-day, period, no questions, just get it. Hehehee

I'm soooo jelouse! I have a telescope and love to star gaze....when the skies are clear....and it's not summer! (24 hour light)....

Glad you all got the view....there's another partial in August...so maybe....if its clear....I should see that even if it's light out.

We were looking forward to seeing it and wouldn't you know....the clouds came over and it rained!

Bummer!!

We moved here to get away from that nasty wet stuff. Oh well; the cacti will bloom pretty this Spring.
