Default I Did A Surprise BabySitting Last Night

Out of the blue, DD called and asked me to watch little Johnny (3), yesterday. The other Grandma watched the 2 yr old. Neither one of us could handle both of them..LOL!

I was supposed to have him for a few hours, but I had him from 3pm til 9pm.. DD, her DH and 3 of their DDs went to a rally for Obama....Yes, he was in town last night..whoopeedo!! DD was all excited...she loves him. I guess I'm gonna have to vote for him.

Johnny and I had a blast but we were both ready for him to go home when he did. I was exhausted ( I didn't get my usual afternoon nap).

This may not seem like a big deal to you, but I am in a scooter most of the time and can't chase after active 3 yr old rug rats anymore. He was an angel and actually did a few things for me. ...Did I ever tell you that I believe Johnny is the re-incarnation of my DH, John?

Anyways, just thought I'd share my new and excellent adventure..

Oh, that must have been great Grandma Sally! I soooo envy you that grandma time!

My dear, late MIL had to pass on watching both of our sons also, as they were two years apart. Our oldest, curious tot was a handful, the younger much easier until they got to be teens.

BTW, I'm voting for Obama as well.

I bet I know who little Johnny's favourite Grandmother is now! I'm glad you both had a great time, Sally.

All the best,
Chris

How fun! Sounds like you guys had a good time together. I think that's awesome that he gets some one on one time with his grandma!
