Default Oh What A Night!

I have been awake since about 8am yesterday! Last night me and the bathroom became close friends. I don't know if it was something I ate or what happened but I know one thing, I sure don't wanna go through that again! And to top it off my legs are stiff and the crazy weird numbness in my face and tongue are back! I told dh to give the concert tickets back to his boss so that somebody else could go, I would rather do that than to see them go to waste. I just didn't think I could handle the crowd and noise plus it's supposed to storm tonight too. Oh well...there will be other times.

I'm going to try to eat a little something and lurk for a while then hopefully get some sleep.

Susan

I'm sorry you were sick, Susan.

Anytime I get something like that - a virus or even a cold - it makes my MS symptoms go haywire.

Usually it's my legs that are affected but this past week I had a touch of some stomach bug and my right hand (which is already numb) was twice as bad.

I'm sorry you had to miss a concert because if this. Feel better soon!

Susan, Hope you are feeling better soon. I know that there are alot of different viruses going around, and one involves stomach/digestive issues. Food poisoning is another possibility. Hopefully your other problems will go away once the digestive issues are resolved.

Sue, sorry about the concert but I totally understand why you don't want to go. I hope you get better soon!

Oh Susan,

I'm so sorry to hear your sick. Could it possibly food poisoning?

My wife and I had a severe case of food poisoning the week after Thanksgiving. We were both living in different rooms of the house and using both bathrooms. We didn't even see each other from Sunday night, onset, and Tuesday night. It was terrible as we had it coming and going.

I lost 14 lbs. and my wife lost 10 lbs. in that week. Took me two weeks before I could really feel like eating again.

I sure hope your experience wasn't that bad and only a 24 hour type of bug.

Sending positive thoughts your way.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well; I hope you are feeling better. There are so many virus' going around in this part of the country too.

In our area we are having a lot of people with respiratory and digestive system problems.

Our hospital here in town had to move some patients in to nursing homes in the area and are screening visitors to try and prevent further problems.

I wanted to take my Mother to her Doctor for a check up and they are not scheduling anyone for routine exams now.

Just as well as I don't want to expose her to germy people in the waiting room.

Sorry to hear you've been unwell. I hope tonight's a better one for you. Try to rest and as the others said, drink lots of fluids.

I can well understand you not wanting to go to the concert, and it was very thoughtful of you to pass the tickets on to some-one else.

Feel better soon. Hugs from Oz.
