Default Ok. Now I'm sad

Today is the anniversary of my dog TinyMonsters dying. He died in 2006. So, I've been sad about that. There's another reason for being sad now again.

Tiny's best friend is a pug named Pudge. Well, today my aunt had to have Pudge put to sleep. Pudge was my last connection to the dog world, since I probably wont get another dog.

My aunt is totally heartbroken, I dont think she's ever had to have any of her previous dogs put to sleep. (her previous dogs all pretty much had sudden deaths from cars)

I'm heartbroken because I really loved Pudge just as much as I loved TinyMonsters.

I guess I'll go be depressed and grumpy and try to draw a picture of Pudge and Tiny together for my aunt.

Ugggg....My dear dog Sacha died last year on "Good Friday"....I've been thinking about her lately too. I spent 3 days in bed crying and had those sobs that come out of no where for weeks....now she has a nice place on the mantle. Hugs for you and your Aunt!

Awwwww very sorry to hear this. for you and your Aunt. Losing a furbaby is a tough and emotional thing. My avator is my baby Cinder I had to put down last Oct. Still tugs at my heart when I think of it but she was so pretty I had to keep her picture up.

I had my first obvious MS symptom a few weeks after Tiny died. Hopefully the same wont happen this time with Pudge dying.

My aunt didnt...."save" Pudge, so she's not going to have a little box of ashes. I did "save" Tiny and he's got a nice place in my bedroom on my headboard. He slept in my room every night when he was alive, so it's only fitting that he's on my bed now. (I wouldnt let him on the bed when he was alive)

I still cry about TinyMonsters a lot. Tonight I'm crying about Tiny AND Pudge. It sucks that dogs dont live as long as people want them to. I raised Tiny from a little puppy and he up and died on me suddenly. Not the way I like my dogs to go. At least I didnt have to decide to let him go like my aunt had to with Pudge.

I almost want to get a new dog, but I just dont have it in me to do it again. My aunt said she'd get another pug when she retires from her nurse practitioner job in about 5 years.

I miss my dog, and I miss Pudge. At least Tiny and Pudge are back together again.

Tiny was such a big part of my life that I kept his picture up.

I might find a picture of Tiny and Pudge together and put one of those up as an avatar.
