God can't heal you if...

Yes, it's MY FAULT I'm sick. God created the heavens and the earth but I have His hands tied!!

Most of these stupid comments have ceased for me since I stopped going to church. I have a lot more peace too. I found out there's nothing wrong with God when I stopped hanging around these idiots.

I hate it when people tell you that you're not praying enough or dont love god enough and that's why they're not "healed" yet.

I've gotten comments from people telling me that I've got MS because I'm an atheist. Please...my religion or lack thereof, has nothing to do with my MS.

new and improved, hello mcfly

just pay shipping and handling, they make more on that charge then the product itself

and any of the disclaimers for the medicine commercials on TV, the sideeffects are unreal, use this nasal spray but be careful can cause inflammation of the sinus and infection WTH even take the stuff a stuffy nose is better than one inflamed and infected, the stomach pills may cause cramping and gastral problems, ok why not make it easier just smack me upside the head:eek:

I hate people who say "if you took XYZ, your illness will get better".

Heard this all my life. They said it to my grandmother, my mom, and now me. My mom even tried a mixture of honey and vinegar every morning. Half of each into a shot glass. :(

All my labs thus far say I'm as healthy as a horse. Generally textbook levels for good health. Only have one minor problem - it's called MS.

"No offense intended, but . . . (something offensive)".

I don't see the point in trying to sugar-coat the comment that way . . . just spit it out if you fully intend to be offensive. :D :p

so true lady,

and then there are the ones who ask a question, and freak when you tell them the truth. hello duh! dont ask if you dont want to know the answer

Kitty 03-16-2008 11:23 AM

I always hate it when I hear "Do you mind if I ask you a personal question?"

Next time someone asks me this I think I'll say "only if you don't mind if I ask YOU one, too." :p

OH! I won't use it anymore....That's something I've said many times...part of my vocabulary.

Greenjeans, I hope you don't think I was singling out anyone. It's just one of those overused phrases we see on the forums alot.

I have a friend who must say "absolutely" everytime she agrees with what you're saying. She must say that word a hundred times during a conversation. After a while it gets "absolutely" annoying!!
