Got an e-mail from my DIL in Ohio and the fields are all flooded up to the road in places.

I know it is getting bad in Missouri already and when the snow melts up north there will be lots of flooding along the Mississippi.

We were in Iowa during the flood of '93 and spent weeks sandbagging and praying we wouldn't flood. We were okay as our house was on a hill but so many weren't so fortunate.

Several towns were completely under water. I hope everyone is okay here and not having to go through that.

same here jeannie the fields are flooded from the melt down, and the few creeks we got near us are high but they are just small creeks,

the fox river is higher but that is a few miles away so no fret there, we shall see if ten to twelve more inches of snow is gonna help any

Its just a crazy winter this year! The weather we have been having for the past month is the weather we should have in April!! We are in 'break-up' and barring any big storms, I think we will be greening up a month early at minimum. I'm not complaining....but as most know, Alaska is one of the places to watch regarding global warming. Its easy to see the truth here....

Luckily we don't live around the river or the major creek here but a lot of the area is totally flooded. We have just had a lot of water and it's going to cost a small bunch to water proof, clean up and repair
