Default Will Winter Ever End???

OK..Spent the day in the snow again..10" here in Red Wing, and it's still snowing lightly off & on..It's the wet, heavy, heart-attack causing snowfall. Hope my deck is sturdy as there is a ton of the stuff on there..I spoke to someone in San Antonio today, she was complaining about the heat. Too snowy up north, too hot down south, and flooding in between..I hope everyone is doing well, whatever the weather. Goldilocks here is planning to hibernate this weekend..again. =O)

He wouldn't have liked this snow..It's so wet & heavy, skiing would not be fun..I grew up in Colorado, so I know what you mean about enjoying the snow ~ in the mountains..LOL. I don't mind snow, but when it gets to be Spring, I'm more than ready for a break..Guess I'm just getting too picky in my old age..=O)

Well, Po, at the risk of turning your thread into a personal vent, I'll just say that yesterday was an absolutely rotten day for me and it was due entirely to the 6" of wet, heavy snow that fell in 2 hours here.

I was so mad, I have decided that come hell or high water, this is the last winter in MI for me. I don't care if I have to go live in my car.

It seems it will never end. We didn't get the "big" snow yesterday but just wondering if we would sent me into a state of feeling helpless. I hate this weather. I wish I could say this is my last winter but we have to wait at least 3 more years until the youngest is out of college. When that last year comes we are selling and buying south for sure.

I guess there's comfort in knowing I'm not alone..=O)
I hear about all the flooding in Missouri, and I feel just a little guilty for complaining about a little snow..Hope everyone's doing OK there..
On the bright side, the weather's never really COLD in the Spring. The snow's been melting all day today and will probably be gone by Monday. Ten plus inches of snow melting completely in a couple days..Amazing..And amazingly muddy!
DM, I'm glad the worst of this missed you. I really shouldn't complain since the worst of the snow all winter has missed us by going South..
AMN, Sandy, I totally understand..Don't know if I wanna live in my car, though. I'm trying to picture me, my two kids, Grandma, 4 cats and a dog living happily ever after in a Mazda..Maybe the snow's not so bad after all..LOL.

The funny thing about RW post (if you can call it funny?) is that I am only an hour, maybe?, North East of her and we have bare ground in lots of places.... snow banks are down to 6' - 10' cause we have gotten mostly rain / freezing rain / hail the last few storms... I am so sick of it - I want warmer temps, no wind and sunshine!!!!
