Thanks for the pics Kay.

That lovely place looks like something out of a picture book. It'd be a dream to work in surrounds as nice as those.

Glad you are luvin it Kay! The next town over used to have a lil place like that. It was so cute, not as cute as your place tho. But, they served ladies mostly and it was a treat to go there. Everything was homemade too. Yummo desserts!

They sold homemade Amish candy and specialty items too. They also had an old time soda fountain off to the side. I miss that place. Someone bought it and turned it into a health club!!! Why the nerve!

That chicken salad sounds devine!! I think you have found your nitch!

FFM- Brought back memories of the crumpet Tea Room In Rogers, Arkansas!

I used to go there for a baked potato which I swear was the size of my head, or a bowl of their potato soup. And they had these to die for orange rolls! I always went with the nuns from work and always had a great time!

Thanks for the reminder! I'm glad you love your new job!

Funny you asked Cindy..........
As a matter of fact...........I am jealious I didnt think of this place first.......
Elsie (my Boss) is such a sweet heart ... she told me she had a favor to ask me today. She wants me to not only help but to come up with the new summer 08 menu........She said she would leave it up to me.........

OMG.............NOW I PANIC..........LOL.........

Okay now I need to do my research. I mentioned about Tim's amazing cheese cakes.......she said she would pay him...or me to make them every week.......
She asked me did I want to change anything as far as the deco or add anything......She is just so wonderful to me.......

So...I guess the answer to your question is YES....the Love has not wore off yet.........
(give me a week lol)

Bosses Day is October 18th. You've got plenty of time to make her an apron.
