Default Luke again
I know this belongs in the pet forum, but you all know me best here, and I personally rarely check other forums.

Luke had a stroke while I was at work today. My beloved boy is now blind (to what extent, I don't know). stumbling at times and only eating from the left side of his dish. I always figured I'd know when it's time. I'm starting to wonder if I really will know. I'm going to try to get him to the vet tomorrow in between MRI and doctor's appts. My poor bubba. I really thought he was going to make it to Italy with me, but now I think I'll have to put him down before we go just because the trip and new home will be too hard for him.

I'm struggling with how to say goodbye and if it's time. He's my best and favorite boy of all three of my dogs. He's been with me the longest. I just needed to get it out....so thanks for listening.

Greta...hugs online just aren't enough. You know he's in my heart. Let me know how it turns out at the vet tomorrow. You will know when it's time. I've been there.....

I know how much Luke means to you.....I know he has been through alot recently and so have you........you have both loved and helped each tother many times.....and now it may be your last time to help him.....

The good Lord must need a good boy up there with him......

Oh Gret~ I'm so sorry about Lukie. I feel like we've kind of been his cyber family too. I just feel so bad, but know how you feel. We had a Pom that had a severe stroke. My oldest doxie has Lymphoma and I know there will come a time that I will have to send her on her final journey~

But, knowing we have to do what is right and best for our furbabies still doesn't make it any easier. Let us know what you find out.
