Unhappy my little fur girl passed today

i feel so terrible for my little Schnauzer Annabelle even though i knew it was unavoidable.. she was Dxed with lymphoma not that long ago and over the past week her breathing was becoming very labored and she did not want to eat at all.. last night i swear i saw tears in her eyes as she was gasping for air.. it was as if she was telling me " it is ok i am ready to go" today i made the dreaded call to the vet and now she is no longer in pain..

i really hope i did the right thing.. i feel so empty and guilty inside.. i keep thinking maybe just maybe i could have done something more for her..

but i know thats not true i did what had to be done..

i will miss you Annabelle and i will never forget you and always love you.

Oh, Drew, that's just so sad. But you did the right thing.

Annabelle feels better now, but it will take awhile before you do, my friend.

Go play your guitar and eat some chocolate.

Dont you hate it that dogs dont live forever??

My surrogate dog (my aunt's pug) was put to sleep about a week and a half ago. My dog died from kidney failure 2yrs ago to the day my aunt's dog was put to sleep.

I'm sorry your dog was sick and had to leave. I hope he's having fun at Rainbow Bridge right now. (Rainbow Bridge is what people call "animal heaven")

As a big poochie lover, I am so sorry you lost your lil furbaby. I have two doxies and they are my babies. My oldest one *almost 13* has Lymphoma, but is in remission now.

I know that she could become sick at any time, so just thinking of that makes me sad. I made a promise to myself when I had to put my Mothers' lil dog down, that I would never ever keep a pet alive for ME; I would do what is best for the pet. It's a tough thing to go through. You can't blame yourself or wonder if you could or should have done things differently. I think Annabelle let you know what she wanted.

Just know that Annabelle has given you alot of love and you returned it.

take care.

Unhappy

So sorry for your loss, I hope Dutchess was at the Rainbow Bridge to greet Annabelle...she went there in 1975....she was a wonderful dog too, as I am sure your baby was. Please know she's no longer in pain....and she'll be there to greet you someday.
