As if you didn't have enough to contend with right now.

What a terrible thing to happen to your DH after such a life threatening illness, and the attack on you leaves me speechless!

Am thinking of you BTB. Please let us know how things are going for you and your DH.

Hugs to you both......

Thanks everyone for your sincere concern for me and my DH and for your thoughts and prayers.

I went to the doctor today and they took xrays of my left ankle, right hand and my right leg and knee. (He attacked me from the right and I fell on my left side) I twisted my left ankle when I fell so it's swollen. My right hand is bruised and the area all around my right knee is very bruised and very swollen, I can't bend it, and very painful. I can't put any weight on my right leg. I have a knot on the right side of my head. I know he kept hitting me after the initial hit to my right leg with the golf club, but I was in so much pain from that hit I can't remember the rest.

I'm in a considerable amount of pain. I am definitely feeling it today. I go back to the doctor on Monday. I'll be going to get a restraining order on Monday too.

The 'you know what' did have to spend last night in jail. Hopefully that will give him a taste of what's to come. He was booked on aggravated assault and battery. The aggravated assault is a felony, so hopefully he won't get off with just probation but will have to serve some time.

DH is taking shots and pills to thin his blood and dissolve the clots in his lungs and leg. He seems to be doing pretty good. Now he just needs to find a job.

Thanks again everyone. It's so good to be able to come here and have some shoulders to cry on.

Love you all

Thanks for the update bunny! Also, I know you've probably thought of this, but be very careful. I'm just looking out for you Restraining orders, as you know, don't stop people all the time. It's too bad that you are so close to this creep. I don't know what caused him to attack, but keep safe and be prepared to protect yourself, should the need arise. I do hope he gets the full plate he has coming to him!

You did take pictures right? And take more in a few days when all the brusing is at its worst!!

I figure only blue skies are heading your way from here....moving you to the front of the line for good fortune

Is this typical behavior for this particular neighbor? That's just unbelieveable.. I think PunkDizzle's right..Sue him till he can't afford to live there anymore.. Solves two problems for you right there..
Take care of yourself, BB..And keep a big stick of your own handy.

aw, man, Bunny!

it's so HARD to live near whack-jobs.

and so difficult to pack up and move away.

some people just do not BELONG on Planet Earth.

I hope the judge who does your TRO, (and PRO, gotta remember to make it PERMANENT, okay?) has compassion and sternness, and FLAGS your order, to make sure the case is followed CLOSELY, and that police response is SWIFT, if and when the order is violated in the future, and that punishment is severe...

I concur with several people above, who said that if the guy is CRAZY enough to attack a defenseless disabled woman, then, he's CRAZY enough to violate an order, because his rage, well, he obviously is NOT in control of himself.

and... I hope he's sentenced to jail for a LONG-arsed time!

he!! is too good for some folks.

Not that it matters, because there is NO excuse for what he did (unless you had a gun). , but I'm curious as to what motivated him to lose it and attack you.

I am so sorry for your pain..(the A-hole)..Take it easy for a few days, until you can heal.

I am just so saddened to hear what that nut did to you! That's just so awful. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. I'm glad your DH is feeling better and I will keep you both in my prayers.

*still shaking my head that people *should say "animals"* feel they can violate someone like that.

take care and I'm just really infuriated that this happened to you.

(sending hugs)
