Default New Haircut - Will I or Won't I???

I made an appt for tonight at 6 PM for a haircut. I have a photo of a short cute style that I really want to try. Right now, my hair is halway down my back, but I'm having trouble with my arms and drying / curling my hair every day is really wiping me out.

So, I have decided it is time to lop off the long golden tresses. I'm really scared even though I know it grows back - in my case pretty quickly. I can do this. I need to do this. I need to be able to just blow dry my hair and go again.

I hope I don't chicken out.

Do it! Summer is coming, you can fluff it or spike it or style it or anything in 2 minutes! Give yourself a break and if you hate it, just grow it out again!

Do it!!!! As I awaited Novantrone Chemo, dreading a "perhaps" hair loss, my SIL (and friend) who lost all her hair during intense chemo for Overian cancer reasurred me "It grows back."

Another good friend said "Then you could get that whole head tattoo you wanted" (NOT really- it was a joke)

Hey, it might be what you always wanted or it'll grow back.

It's hard to make a change that affects your appearance but I'd say go for it. I've always had hair at least to my shoulders but years ago as a child I could sit on it!!

I have a round face so short hair just doesn't look good on me - but if it did I'd be getting it cut today!!

Yup I can grow it out, that's for sure. My hairdresser always comments on how fast my hair grows.

Really short hair doesn't look good on me, either. This style is just above the shoulders, so it isn't too short.

I wish I could do locks of love with my hair, but it doesn't meet the length requirements because it is layered. I hope I look fabulous, though!!!

I hope it is what I always wanted. I want easy and cute. The mention of a head tatoo made me think of this one:

I went this weekend and got mine cut. I picked a short cut. The girl didn't cut it right and had to cut it again. Now it's short short.

I have not cried over a hair cut in a long long time, but I did Saturday.

Everyone else seems to love my hair.

Since I cannot do anything about it, I have decided to look at the bright side.

It takes me all of 2 minutes to dry and style my hair.
My arms do not get tired while drying and syling.
I can go out walking in the wind and my hair does not move. lol I look the same when I get home as I did when I left.

When the wind blows, my bangs are not in my eyes.

I may not like the way I look, but I do love how easy my hair is.

Go for it Holly.

Holly
You've got to do it! It's only hair. I've had mine 1/2 down my back for several years. Six months ago, I decided to let my bangs grow out. I've had bangs all my life.

I've been cutting the back shorter and shorter to try and make my hair more one length. I love how much easier it is to style. With summer coming, I considering just above my shoulders, it catches them now.

Do it girl. It will grow back. Mine too is a quick grower.
