It's gonna get cooler here in the next week..40s and 50s, but it will warm back up.

OMG! I guess I tried to blow the warm dry air to the east a little too hard as the cool damp air circled around to here.

It is so weird as today it is cloudy and 73. Really not normal for this time of year. But I am going to enjoy it because I know what is coming.

OK NOW!

I won the battle with "Wellpoint" ( who the #$%^ are they and why are they peeving me???) It seems that my insurance company (AnthemBCBS) contracts with them for something or the other and they somehow got hold of my prescription and refused to authorize my provigil refill. I have a full service plan with no exclusions and they shouldn't have had their noses in any of my stuff.

I took care of them. I also took care of BCBS for allowing them access to my information. I asked for a written letter of apology and a written plan of correction for their HIPPA violation. I gave them 14 days.

Nowwww...spring! It seems to be trying to poke it's nose through the curtain of winter here! I am willing to bet Char is completely thawed out, being more easterly of me, even if she is further north!

Here's my look out the back door!

#1 is the last of the snow pile and the open spring holes across from my dock.

# 2 is the open water moving up towards my house.

#3 is the open water along the shoreline off my wall and the freshwater mussel shells the underwater creatures left there this winter ( otters? They leave the shells after they crack them open on the rocks and eat the meat. This all goes on under the ice all winter long!)

#4 is a look away from my house up the lake...as you can see, it's got a LONG way to go yet!

We still have some patches of snow here and there in the fields but the woods still have quite a bit! I did some some buds on the maple trees yesterday though! My dad has been maple syrup for two weeks now - last week he said was a good week! Warm during the day cool at night great for the sap running!

Nanc, those pics are great! They do seem cold but what a view!

And good for you to give it to them! What nerve they have giving out your info! Hope they come through with that letter of apology!

Yeahbut, how cool your dad does syrup. Do you get a whole supply for the year? Is he able to sell it or just for the family? Hope you are doing better
