Suz, your pics of home are fantastic. It's hard not to love the whole region and you'll definitely feel fabulous when you soak up some of that mountain air and drink in a little humidity.

I'm concerned about your feelings, have you told your neuro about it? Sometimes MS can play chemical tricks on us and you might be experiencing that right now.

Anyway, have a wonderful visit! We'll hold down the fort here for you.:)

Suzy - I am sorry that you are feeling this way. No, I don't feel like you let me down at all. Many times, I need to take a small break from the boards for different reasons (I have things going on with the kids, work picked up a bit for me, I'm working on a painting, I'm not doing well, etc.).

I think once you are in TN you will start feeling better. From the pictures that you posted it looks so peaceful and beautiful as opposed to city life. Last weekend, despite being in a flare, I went camping/fishing. It didn't do anything for the flare but it sure was good therapy for my psyche. Being in the country like that was so wonderful. No phones, no TV, no city noise, etc. I rested and slept a LOT! I was able to let myself be absorbed by the beauty around me.

Hang in there! You will be fine. Let us know how your trip goes.

DM says we're "crusty". But she's probably the only "crusty" one here. BTW, what does crusty mean?

And FFM? A skunk in her bed is the name of a state?? UGH

And AMN has the bestest advice of all, check with your neuro if you don't feel yourself. Never know what might be going on with us.

Enjoy your visit to TN and send us more pics, they are beautiful!

Enjoy your visit Suzy. It sounds like just what you need. Time away from the rat race and time to assess...relax and regroup with things familiar.

Making an appt with your doc might not be a bad idea as well for when you return....could be something else going on, too.

In the meantime, just enjoy your time.

Well Suzy I feel like you let me down! you are telling us that you won't be writing for what did you say weeks???? HUH??? That is too long Suzy!!! :D

SuzyQ, Old friends and family ought to help you lift your spirits, but if not....see your old doc there and tell them how you are feeling. OK? Promise? Double pinky swear??? :D

MS isn't the chickenpox. It doesnt' cure up and go away, maybe revisit you when you are 70 to give you a nice itchy case of Shingles! No, MS hangs around playing peek a boo and you never know when the joke is on MS....It is VERY different to get used to.

You go and have a good time and don't overdo!!! Use the word "no" when you have to!! They might not understand, but your MS will reward you for it and give you the energy to do something you'd LOVE to do later!

Peace.

WOW! My whole state has a population of around 470,000 and our cities are small. The capital city of the state I live in has a population of about 180,000

The highways are a joke - we have some 20 lane plus roads here.

I can't even imagine what that must be like. In big cities like Sydney you may find hwys with 4 lanes going in each direction, but certainly not in other areas. Even our highways that lead from one state to the other usually only have 2 lanes each way!

Hi Suzy
I hope the trip to TN is just the medicine you need to start feeling better. I know the pics cheered me up. I'll have to go there one day.

As the others have said, a trip to the doc may be next on your list.

Relax, girl, you are so hard on yourself. This disease is hard enough. Breathe.

Sending healing :hug::hug:
