Default Queen Elizabeth

Today is Queen Elizabeth II's birthday. My mother always admired Her Majesty greatly, and was deeply offended when she was criticized in the media. I tend to agree. I grew up in an era (back when Moses was still in the bullrushes) when being considered lady-like, dignified, and proper was taken as a compliment.

She's always been on my list of people I'd like to meet, though I'm sure I would turn into a blabbering idiot in her presence.

Here's hoping she enjoys many blessings today!
