I missed you too. I even missed your silly avatar and the way it makes my eyes jump!:winky: We checked for several hours last night, and it would cost me over $400.00 just in airfare alone to fly in to the Quad City Airport.:o That on top of a hotel room and a rental car would end up costing close to a thousand $$, so I'm going to have to pass for this one.:mad: Why are you having it in the middle of nowhere? :Sigh:Or for that matter, why do I live in the middle of nowhere?:confused:

I'm so happy that your ankle is finally starting to mend. I had a lovely time with my Mum, and although she isn't the most helpful person I know, it was good to have her around.

I'm not going to be able to make it to the gathering. The cost is a bit pricey for us to justify for just a night, so don't feel bad. I'll be here online with you.:hug:

How are you neighbour? I've missed you! Mum had a lovely visit. She still lives in Great Britain. I'm the only one who has left the country. She's been to the states several times, and this was her second time to Atlanta. The weather was just lovely when she was here. Now it's gotten a bit too hot for my liking, and I guess summer is here for the next 5 months.:eek: It's good to hear from you.:)

Sorry you can't make it Chris but understand the cost issue. I will be moving to Tennessee in three years so we'll be closer too. I am thinking the Alabama/Tennessee border right now. I have an aunt near Atlanta.

Aw nuts, Chrappy! I was so hoping you'd pull it off! The location was to accommodate midwest people from every direction and conveniently located to me, the one who will drive 6 hours to get there!
