it's troubling to look at people suffering in our world.
if the end of days were to really come then i'd be ok with it. i can't control it so i don't worry. if i lived in tornado alley i'd think about moving. but i understand that this can get scary. |
With my luck, I'd max out hundreds of thousands of dollars in credit cards about the same time some history expert announced he'd accidentally been looking at the calendar upside down or something.."SO sorry, I meant 2102..My bad."
Yep..That's the way it would happen.. |
Anyone who has their eyes open and has studied these things is thinking the same thing. These things over the past 4-5 years are alarming. This is not global warming (even heard that on the news last night). It just IS....Prayers for all who are suffering now and hope that all are safe and warm in the days to come. The Myan calender ends on Dec 21st 2012....as well as many other ancient societies that predicted the end in this year as well. I'm not a dooms dayer....BUT....the signs are everywhere.

So what if I already maxed out my credit cards because I heard Bush was going to be throwing money at rich people? Can I bum an extra card off of one of y'all?

Hey GreenJeans,
I have followed these events closely and kept up with the Myan predictions and the end of their calendar (that is even more exact than our own). There are many theories about the coming time - the December 21st 2012 timeframe. Many think it is not the "end of the world" -- but the -- "end of the world as we know it". That the Mayan's, Aztecs, Incas and many of those ancient peoples and prophets were saying that this is just the end of this "cycle" and a new world will be reigning in and in fact from what "little" I know, it is thought and hoped that this will be the coming of a new spiritual awakening. Somehow this also ties in to the "Indigo children". I know only enough to be dangerous in speaking up - but I am fascinated none the less. I do believe we are in for very difficult times, I think many people throughout the world may die via natural and manmade disasters. I expect that the US also will see very difficult times as I suspect we are only just now at the very beginning of these difficutl times. I am thinking that perhaps these difficult times that we are coming into will be what brings forth a new age where people are more "family centric" and more focussed on helping one another again. Where communities become close and neighbors take care of each other as was done 100 years ago. Maybe I am just living in a fantasy but that is my hope (not the disasters - but I believe the disasters are coming more and more regardless - things have already been set in motion) but I do hope that mankind draws closer as a result. I fear these times, not so much for myself - but for my children and my granddaughter. It does scare me - I pray that people will get back to what is truly important. I also think that for those of us who deal with chronic illness - we have been forced to look at life differently due to our deficits but many others are on the fast track. Who knows how many of "us" would still be on that fast track if not for our health. Do I sound nuts ???? If so - blame it on my feeble little brain - it has holes all over it !!!! I need to borrow HereKitties credit card !!!! Kelly ?????? Do you have an extra ??? Be sure to bring a bird cage along on our ark !!!! Snoods !!! |
Hi Snoodles...
Yep, me too. The History channel is one that I check everyday for a good show to watch. I'm facinated by those who predict things that come to pass (dare I say prophets? no....but something like it). I'm a big skeptic, but some things you just can't ignore. This all started for me when I spent alot of time in the book of Revelations, Daniel and Ezekial (of the bible) back in 1999. Since then I pay close attention to the Middle East and Jerusalem. As Christians (and many other denominations) it would be foolish not to pay attention to things that are predicted. To ignore these things would be kin to ignoring the story of Jesus. All things must come to pass as planned. Its the not knowing when that drives us crazy LOL! I don't have fear so much of the things that are happening...but it brings that feeling of 'HUH!' to mind....As the bible suggests, many will go about their daily business not knowing or seeing....but the select few will know. (Goosebumps!). Not saying I am select...but I do believe.... I have no desire to upset anyone with my thoughts. To any who are I say to do your own research and come to your own conclusion. This just happens to be mine with all due respect. Hang on, its going to be a crazy ride!! (If this IS the time...what a time to be living!) Hope all is well with you  |

I was just thinking...the rainbow promises no more floods....of that magnitude, but it dose not say anything about volcanos, earthquakes, storms and fire....which are the world we live in today. Gee...will insurance get us out of this? LOL!!! |
