Default what to do with extra DMD's?

Hi all, I'm stopping my Copaxone today since I can't tolerate the icky stuff. The doc's office made a mistake recently and I was a flake and didn't pick up on it -- one pharmacy sent me 1 box and another pharmacy sent me a 3 month supply of the stuff. So I now have 3 unused boxes of copaxone in my fridge that cost practically nothing due to my insurance. I would love to pass on to someone who can't afford the stuff. Legally you can't give meds to other people, right? In good conscience I cannot throw away $6,000 worth of medication and I would like to help someone out. Will the NMSS take it? What should I do?

The NMSS cannot take it. Talk to your doctor's office, they may have a suggestion.

Natalie,

Give it to your neurologist so that he can provide it to someone in need of assistance.
