Default Before it gets hot...

This has been the nicest, coolest spring here in the upper midwest and before it gets hot and forces me indoors, I just have to say how thankful I have been for it. It's another sunny day, breezy and 63° in MI today and I am loving it! I'm grounded for a few pay days after a great weekend and the weather couldn't be better here, in the glass house.

Same here in N. Illinois Cindy. I went to the local nursery and got some flowers to put in planters tonight. I'm relishing every minute of this before it's time to turn on the AC.

At work I have a planter outdoors, and a squirrel is burying walnuts next to the petunias.

Oh sure, AMN, rub it in my face. It's hotter than he!! out - in the 100's. I just got back from picking up DD16 at the bus stop (about 1 mile from here), took her to the store to grocery shop and ended up too weak to do anything but get back home. Good thing she will be getting her license in a day or 2.

Enjoy the weather all you can. It sounds like a perfect day!

While it was cool here for a spurt a few weeks ago, it's really hot here already (in the 90s.)
I keep my a/c on at all times, usually around 69-71 degrees. It greatly helps manage my nerve pain. (My muscles do need a hot bath from time to time though.)
Send some more cool blasts my way, OK? I'd love to be outside.

We've had a week of 90+ which is about 20 degrees above normal. Today, however, we've got thunderstorms rolling in and it's supposed to cool things off and be cooler for the rest of the week! Yeah! Too darn hot here too soon!

Maybe that's why I've been so sick...I cannot tolerate the heat.

Hmmmmmmm. Seems to me that someone had an awful lot of wonderful things to share about the desert during our long, frigid, windy, snowy, icy, miserable winter....

No blood, no pity.

It'll be getting hot here in GA soon, too. Usually after the Memorial Day weekend it gets pretty hot and stays like that until the end of October.

Cheryl, I saw on the news where Idaho is getting bad flooding in some areas. Hope you're not near that.

I just wish it would stay springlike all year round. Nothing over 75 and nothing under 60. That would be perfect!
