Get your minds outta the gutter; it's an electrode/tens unit. I've got two electrode patches on my hip anda it feels good to have it stimulate the nerves/muscles. Hopefully, it will feel better tomorrow. http://dl6.glitter-graphics.net/pub/...viqyz5pktd.gif

I love the poo icon, Anne! Now, that's funny!

How did you know what we were thinking?:o

We were not thinking. Yeah, that's it. Not thinking anything at all......

DM - Sorry you are hurting. I had bursitis when I was a teen. Dr gave me a shot of cortisone but it didn't help and I had trouble with that hip on and off ever since. In hindsight, that feeling is in my hip is the same feeling I get when the spasticity gets bad.

I may have missed something in your post, but is it a possible that the pain is being caused by spasticity? I find that when I get like that a nice warm (not hot) Epsom salt bath helps.

Sending you lots of cyber:hug:'s and hope you start feeling better soon.

Koala - Where did you get that picture of me? LOL

DM 05-29-2008 07:38 PM

Thank Tkrik!! I know I have spasticity, so anything is possible. (food for thought)

No pics for you, AMN! OK, maybe ONE~

dearest DM,

i'm sorry for your pain. i know what that's like.
i agree with cheryl that this needs to be followed up on.
i wonder what your pcp might say.

if it's not the bone i wonder if it's muscular.
if you've fallen it can knock your muscles out of kilter.

wish i could get out my nursey wand and make it all go away for you.

HM, HY

I hope you feel better soon DM. I still think you should get an xray though to make sure nothing else is going on. Regardless of what you decide to do, I am hoping you feel better soon. Watch those storms today. They look realy nasty.
