Chris, when Jim was stationed in Germany some British soldiers came on post to visit. They got Jim so stinking drunk. They gave him some beer cans that have pretty ladies on them. The more you drink the beer, the more naked the women get. We have one can left. lol

Sounds like you had fun Chris! :D There are always Brits in Jamaica, and I can definitely tell you they haven't been stuffy! I love their accent!

Some of the best drunk fests, er I mean, cocktail parties, we ever attended were put on by the Brits!

I'm so glad you had a good time. I bet you looked outstanding in your dress minus some hat. (Is it ok that I say the hats sounded silly or would that be rude?)

I have friends on staff at the Brit. Embassy here and occasionaly get to crash a party. The embassy has a room for parties with a beautiful wood floor. I've been to more than one party where a couple hours in the drinks start getting sloshed and people start slipping and falling. And, everyone thinks it's a riot...until someone breaks a bone and the party is over. It is amusing seeing ladies in sequins on the floor laughing at themselves.

The Brits really do know how to have fun and let loose. Right up there with the Ausies and Canadians.
