Default Meatball

Someone told me yesterday the NASA meatball is the third most recognized symbol in the world, behind the coca-cola and the IBM logo. I did not know this (my avatar is what we refer to as the NASA meatball). Just a little bit of trivia...

Well there you go - you learn something new everyday. If anyone asked me about the NASA meatball, I'd be stumped. Now I know. Thanks!

I never knew it was called a meatball.

But hey, who doesn't like meatballs?

So, how's it going, Tom?

I do a Trivia quiz every day, designed to keep minds like mine sharp. They ask this kind of stuff.

LOL. I'd be stumped too. Actually, I'd probably think it was some dried meatball that the astronauts could eat while in space. LOL.

Thanks for the trivia, Tom!

I do remember going to the Boston Museum of Science as a kid.. and we used to eat "Astronaut Ice Cream" mmmm.. like eating multi-flavored chalk bricks. I wonder if they still have those. What styles of food do they eat in space now.. hmm... like Lean Cuisines? or the food you squeeze out of tubes (I think I'm confusing space travel with military eating!)

Thanks for the info Tom. I would think it was a dehydrated
meatball that they eat when in space.

Now I am going to find out how smart the family is.
It should be fun. My son works for the gov. and now I may
have something over him.
