The hotel...I was on the phone with the Marriott staff and they are doing a turn by turn leading us to their door...and we turn on to a road that is URBAN BLIGHT! Piles of concrete and construction debris, buildings down, chain link fences, grafitti...and right THERE, in the middle of it all...is the Marriott :eek:

The phone call...was from the bother...and it was when he stole the boat, broke the motor and almost sunk the boat and drowned himself AND TWO of my nieces in that bitter cold driving wind...:mad: The motor is FINALLY in the shop today...we will see what the final cost of that weekend is by this weekend...:(

The only board buddy I've met is Cindy, but I had already seen pics of her she posted due to her shennanigans with Kay and others! LOL One thing with Cindy though, is it seemed we'd been friends forever! She literally could be one of my sisters! We could throw her into the Woomer girl mix and I'm sure my parents would wonder where the heck she'd been and how she got separated from the rest of us! LMAO And my fiance Dennis, he's very quiet and shy, but he was excited to meet someone who's nickname is "AfterMyNap", which immediately made her his hero! Also, though he still was quiet, she may not realize, but he interacted more with her than any of my friends! Of course, Cindy also told him that he reminded her of Jeff Daniels. Unbeknownst to Cindy, one of Dennis' favorite actors.........and I haven't heard the end of it since! LMAO

LOL, Jess, that was an awesome day! I had you pegged pretty well from your goofy posts and your avatar, but never could have imagined what a TOTAL EXPLOSION of personality and fun you are! Oh my gosh! We never shut up for one second that whole day! I laughed for an hour when I headed out!

I still laugh when I picture us drooling over our box of donuts, or chasing papers in slo-mo on your lawn. That was such a blast!

This is a fun one. I think picturing Mommas Kids is the hardest. I can't imagine her to look like anything else but her avatar. I just picture her in that hat and some glasses, sitting on the porch, sipping ice tea, with her stocking knee highs and all of us sitting on the steps listening to her tales.:hug:
