Well the back got worse last night after I went to the doc, but seems to be better this morning. Doc didn't find anything on the xray, so it seems it is probably just a very severe lumbar sprain.

I had to get my wife to help me walk from the living room to the bathroom, and then from the bathroom to the bedroom. This morning it seems slightly better (I can walk on my own), but it may just be the tylenol with codeine and the anti-inflammatories.

I stayed home from work and have spent most of the day laying down, so hopefully it will keep getting better. The good news is it doesn't seem to be a slipped disk or anything...so I can probably get back on the bike in a week or so if I take care of it now..

That's great news - take care of yourself and don't overdo and throw it out again.
