We are going to the Air Show today to see the Blue Angels among other acts. DH has seen them before, but I haven't. He says the show is just awesome. His company buys so many tickets and gave him some.

His company also provides a huge white tent w/cooling fans, wine coolers, beer, water, pop and FOOD! I'm a little skiddish about getting overheated, so I'm going prepared, as it's already warm out.
But, I'm not going to miss out again. I couldn't go last yr b/c of the heat and leg probs!

Watch out for the low crossing path of the F-18....it will sneak up on the crowd and just amaze you.

Hornets are sneaky fast.

mah daddah was AF, and planes were in his bloodstream..

we went regularly to the shows at Moffett Field, or Stockton... a fond childhood memory...

Don't scare them too badly, DM, those planes are expensive.

In the 70s, We lived very near Wright Patterson AFB and could see most of the air show from the top of the hill, in my back yard. It was sort of like living in NYC and not going to the top of the ES Building..LOL

Anyway, I had more than my fill of Air Shows.

The Blue Angels are Fabulous..

Those shows are awesome!!! I love going to them. They are just amazing to watch. I am glad that you will be in the shade with all the luxuries fit for a Princess. LOL.

Seriously though, it will make things more enjoyable for you. I did not go to the last one here in town as it was too hot without shade and the parking lots around the base were too full so I couldn't sit in the car and watch through the sunroof.

We have been to The Reno Air Show a few different times. I was 18 when we were dating and the first time I saw an Air Show - they are awesome. The Blue Angels were at those shows.
