Default NASA stuff

Be patient with the link. It's well worth it.

Test flight 4/15/2009. Might slip up to 5 weeks. Too early to tell. This is what it should look like. Great graphics. Now - who can tell me the mistakes?

Mistake is in supply side- there's no way to get the mentos in the bottle without putting the mentos droppers at risk! I also don't SEE any mentos in the pic!!

Super video...thanks, Tom.

Mistakes???? Oops, I didn't see any.....except, maybe, those Astronauts in the water, after it landed.

Don't see any mistakes at all. I see that NASA is being helpful to the medical community in designing a great method for us MSers to get our "helpful" dose of caffeine. Way to go NASA! I love you guys!

*taking sip of my Coke sitting right next to me* LOL

The only big mistake is it takes off from the wrong launch pad. The people in the water are the recovery team. They're recovering the rocket part. The man craft for the initial flight is a dummy and burns up in the atmosphere.

That seems like kind of a bad precedent to set...j/k

I just got through reading Gene Krantz's "Failure is Not an Option" and I am just amazed at how close we were to complete disaster or failure so many times during the early space missions. I sure hope that today's missions aren't flying that close to the edge all the time...
