I grew up in Coos Bay right on the central Oregon coast. I didn't personally care for the weather. It was too much rain for me and not warm enough in the summer. I guess it is all personal opinion because I know people who think it is ideal. The scenery is beautiful and I do miss that.

Oregon and Washington are very similar to Vancouver.

I was raised here, so I guess I'm used to it. There is a fair bit of rain, but the temps are fairly moderate, which works out very well for the MS. I can't imagine living where there are weeks on end of 90 degree weather, then temps in the minus in the Winter.

If it's raining, it's usually fairly warm still. Where there's rain, there's no snow. I don't get on well with extremes.

Other then northern California, I can't imagine a better climate to live in, at least with this disease.
