We were disappointed in the Dixie Stampede when we were there. We enjoyed some of the lower priced shows more:
  • The Duttons
  • Waltzing Waters
My dad wanted to go see Yakov Smirnoff, but he didn't have a show the evenings we were there, so we went to see the Platters instead. They were pretty good, but it wasn't the original members.
With little kids, Ride the Ducks is fun, but you're past that stage.

Heading home from Branson in the morning. It's been nice - but hot!!!! It was really good my DH and I to get away without kids - that's the first time we've done that in 18 years since they were born. We saw the Presley's and Baldknobbers - both were good. The Presley's were my favorite though. Hoping we can come back some other time and see more. We did some shopping at all the outlet malls and went to the Stone Hill Winery and bought too much wine. We did go to the Shepard of the Hills tower and did the homestead tour - didn't see the play this time - I saw that many years ago, but need to do it again too. I'm not much of a travel person- I'll be glad to be home to my pets. DD and DS having a great time at youth camp in Georgia. Heard from DD several times, haven't heard a peep from DS, who would have thought
