I love slate! In my life I have ordered a total of 8 palettes! I got very good at building stone walls for my gardens with various homes during the years. I love how the chipmunks love to live and play around in it!!

It fits in so well with the landscaping. As I got older I got smarter and made them wide enough to sit on so I could weed in the flower beds more easily.

I loved finding plants that would drape over the tall walls and flower. It looks so pretty, too in the winter with the snow on top.

Your website brought back some great memories of my gardens in years past. Now I just garden in large pots

Whatever, I can still garden on a smaller scale.

I really hope this works for you!!!

Congratulations, Char!!!

DH and I visited a historic slate quarry in Wales. It was fascinating to learn how each dark cavern belonged to a specific family. It took a family many years to quarry an area that was about the size of a very small house. They had to blast with precision to separate a sheet of slate from the wall. Dangerous work -- and to have your family there helping. What a hard life.

Slate is so plentiful there that you can see it on the roofs of even the most humble homes.

Website is great! You're off to a good start! I'm sure you'll do just fine.
