Default Checkin' In

I hope everyone is having a good week and staying cool.

I've not been feeling well the last few days. Been having lots of trouble with vertigo and balance, it's like riding my own private tilt-a-world! Tuesday I slept almost 20 hours...dh said he kept checking on me to see if I was still breathing cause I was in such a deep sleep! I have never done that before, and to beat all yesterday I was still tired, doubled up on Provigil and it didn't even phase me. I dunno, crazy carp! Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and let y'all know I'm still hanging around some lol Oh and a quick update on my brother, EEG came back normal, they are still doing some more testing and trying to figure out what is going on. His primary dr. seems to think it may be seizures associated with migraines, but not sure about that.

Love Y'all!

Hey Suz! Glad to see your post. That sleeping thing is strange, but you must have needed it for your body to regroup. Thanks for the update on your brother. Hopefully, they'll get it figured out and he'll be good as new. *is there such a thing as "good as new???*

take care and don't be a stranger.

Thanks for the update, Suz. I can't empathize with the vertigo and the perpetual sleep mode. Your bod is protecting you, so let it!

Take care and keep resting as often as necessary, okay?

Hi Suzy! Glad you posted. I can relate to the sleep thing. I laid down today at 1PM and the next thing I knew it was after 6 PM! I was out like a light. I woke up and both cats were sitting on my dresser staring at me!!

It's this heat...it just zaps all my energy. I still feel like I could go back to sleep but I'm gonna tough it out till at least 9PM so I won't be up all night.

I've not had the vertigo but my balance is terrible anyway and it takes me a while to get moving once I finally wake up.

I hope you feel better. Rest when you feel like you need to. I used to fight it but then later I'd feel even worse so we need to listen to our bodies. Right now, mine is telling me that I need a bowl of ice cream!! Tata for now!

Hi Suzy ! I can relate to the sleeping thing too. If I'm not sleeping, I want to! It's gotta be the heat.
