I've been off the board for days but I did want to send you positive energy and hugs. I'm sorry you are going through this right now. You were one of the first to greet me at NT when I posted for the first time -- you and others made me feel so welcome. Just know you are so important to this board and we are all pulling for you. I'm off to visit my board buddy in less than 2 days time, so once I get back from visiting her hopefully I'll be able to think a bit more clearly.

I must admit though, with all the liassons I've already organised for my DGS with DGDs of members on this site when he and they get a bit older, it'd be a shame if I wasn't around to see them through.....

I just wanted to update everybody!

I went along like a good Koala to have these melanomas removed on Wednesday, only to find that my Doctor couldn't do the operation as arranged and I've had to reschedule.

I was a bit put out at first, having psyched myself up and all, but to be honest.... I'm over it!

I'm no longer feeling as defeated as I did before, so whether the operation was done this week....or happens in two weeks time when I have my new appointment....the result will be the same....benign!

I feel so much better now about the whole thing, and I think that a combination of your support, and having that mini holiday away has helped me get my brain back into gear!

I'll let you know when the operation is over, and also the results when they finally come through.
