Default Last lecture professor died yesterday

Randy Pausch, a professor at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, died yesterday. I do not mean for this to be a sad thread because he was so inspirational and always talked about having fun and enjoying your life. He once took all of his graduate assistants to Disney world to celebrate the award of a grant. He gave a lecture last September when he was told he had a few months to live. I first saw him on Oprah, but you can view his talk on You Tube. I am sad, but thinking about him reminds me to live my life to the fullest possible extent and to quit worrying all of the time about the future. I am working on it.

Such a loss, but what a gift he has given this world. If anyone has never heard his famous speech, it has also been published in a book, it may be one of the most important things any of us adds to our lives.

This is a loss as he inspired so many to live life to the fullest. May he rest in peace.

What a great loss. Almost 6yrs ago, I lost my mom to pancreatic cancer, one of the worst IMO. He is so inspriational and I hope his legacy is longlasting and far reaching. May he rest in peace.

He was such an extraordinary and insprirational speaker and man. He will be greatly missed, not only by his family but those he touched.
