LOL tom, i was just going to post that tom and i can tell you about texas humidity.

mine and lil'monkey's curly hair are clear signs of our humidity.

we hit 105 yesterday. that wasn't including the heat index. the kids went swimming for awhile. i had a client to train, but we went no where in the car. i wish that was the case today. blech, i have to take lil'monkey to work at 4pm.

it might sound too warm for most, but i keep the AC no less than 80. the kids and i are used to it. mini blinds and insulatedx curtains help wonders too. we also don't keep anything plugged in when not in use.

Hey - I spent some time in NE last week. I really liked the Chadron area. And Scottsbluff.

Tom

Right now, it's only about 82 degrees outside. The dew point is 70 degrees, and the humidity is 71%. It's pretty juicy outside right now. (I'm staying inside today!!!)

This morning, when I had really bad insomnia and was still awake at 6am. I was chatting with my dad before he went to work. Noticed our little weather station clock said that the humidity was 88%!!!

My dad went outside to get the newspapers, and came back inside. He said the air was very heavy feeling to him, and that he's glad he's going to be in an air conditioned hospital all day (he's a nurse anesthetist, works in surgery)

I'm staying inside as much as I can today. With dew points and humidity as high as they are, I dont want to have to grow gills to be able to breathe the air.

We're having one heck of a thunderstorm right now.

Which, really is not surprising, seeing how high the dew point and humidity was earlier...plus the heat.

I wonder if we're going to be having a tornado soon now? I wouldnt be surprised, the way the weather has been treating us lately.

Maybe the storm will cool things down...hopefully.

Heat and humidity; yikes!

Here is Arizona it is a dry heat and you don't perspire as the sweat just evaporates right off!!

We don't need food dehydrators as we just put things out on the patio table and in a few seconds it is done!

It's in the low 90s out here in the western suburbs of Chicago...I don't think I've ever had such trouble with the heat as I have this year. I sweat (it pours) as soon as I go outside, and after a time, I feel so weak and out of it I have to go inside. I feel like such a wimp...

I like it when it's in the low to mid 80s...this heat and humidity stinks.

There is raw egg in raw cookie dough. There's a possibility that you can get salmonella from eating raw egg.

I like it when it's about 75-78 degrees and cloudy.
