I had a very traumatic experience yesterday. Between the MS and other foot problems, I now have to have special supportive shoes and a custom insole. I'm sure many here can relate. The podiatrist recommended Aravon and Naot shoes, neither of which is widely available here.
So yesterday we went to Springfield, MO to get my bicycle out of the shop and so I could go shoe shopping. I tried on about 25 pairs of shoes and finally narrowed it down. I begged the salesman into giving me 30% off one pair and 10% off the other three pairs. Damage: just over $500. I think I started to hyperventilate. So I am now the proud owner of one pair of bronze Aravon sandals, one pair of black Naot sandals, and one brown and one black pair of Naot mary janes. I have to admit, they are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt as much as usual. And the black sandals are CUTE! |
