Default My Favorite Place

This title says it all where is your favorite place on Earth? I was sent into dreamland this morning when I got an email from my favorite place. Although I LOVE Italy my favorite place on Earth is in the Alps...on any side,German,Swiss,Italian. Everytime I think about it I am filled with a sense of longing to go back!

Nice post Nae~~~ I haven't traveled abroad, so my very fave place is Topsail Island, NC. It's surrounded by the sound of the ocean and it's just so peaceful and beautiful. We stay in a beach home right on the beach and it's just amazing.

What a nice way to start my day~ daydreaming about a vacation.

Sending hugs your way R.

Ireland; especially the smaller towns and villages in County Cork and County, Killkenny. A second one would be Capri and Sorrento in Italy.

My traveling has been limited to say the least . I really hope to do more traveling some day (when finances permit, ya know?).

BUT I love Key West! And it's only a four hour drive from my home .

My favorite place has always been my Grandmother's house. I'm sure it's no longer there now but I have fond memories of spending several weeks there every summer.

It was a farm house on a tobacco farm in Rocky Mount, NC. Her driveway was about 1/2 mile long cut straight through a field of tobacco!

I could write a book about all the fun we had there. I would love to go back. Just wish I could.

I've heard Vermont is nice, too

Thanks Renee - I have never been abroad either - actually have only been a few places in my life but now my favorite place is Baker Lake, Maine. It is about 100 miles North deep in the woods on dirt roads. The air is clean, the lake is beautiful and I love it!!! I wish I could get there more but it isn't possible.

here's a pic! just a lake deep in the North Maine Woods!

My favorite place is here at home but if I am dreaming it's the Virgin Islands. I have searched for houses there because we loved it so much.

I went to Topsail with a very good friend of mine almost a year ago, and for an east coast beach, it wasn't bad. We had a great time but of course she and I have a great time wherever we go!

My favorite place is also a beach...I love the ocean. The sounds, the waves, just sitting on the sand listening to the birds, the crashing of the waves against the beach. It's so peaceful.
