Default What do you collect?

Most people collect things, what do you collect?

I collect:

unique beer bottles
Anything Arizona Diamondback
foreign money

I used to collect:

Antique coke stuff (authentic, not reproduction)
at one time I had over 3,000 items including bottles, trays, etc. I have since sold them all off

I collect Angels.

I also collect recipes. I have a big binder with all of them sorted by category.

Olympic pins, I have over 2000. And for the games I went to I traded. Even had an article written about me trading at the Sydney Olympics with a guy from singapore.

DH would say I also collect shoes but I say they serve a necessary purpose.

DH also collects various sports memorabilia.

I don't officially collect anything, but I do have a bunch of lanterns that hold tealight (I think they're called?) candles. 7 of them. My first came from my Aunt in Denmark. I've never bought them myself, but family knows I like the look of them, and will buy them for me on occasion.

Right now I'm collecting dust ~ getting offline to finish housework in a moment..
Other stuff I like to accumulate (don't know if I'd call it a real "collection"):
1) Old radios, 1930's & 40's especially
2) Cat stuff
3) Books
4) Vinyl Records..

Well, the polar bear took most of my answers. When I saw the title, my first reaction was "I don't collect, I accumulate". My second thought was "dust".

I have all of my mom's and dad's collections (postcards, dogs, sea shells, match covers, etc.) and I'm a packrat anyway. I have a lot of stuff I like, but don't know if any official collections. You name it, I got it. At least one of everything. (Though I'm looking forward to some ebaying when I retire).

But just in case somebody's keeping track in the event we ever have a gift exchange, I collect dark chocolate truffles.
