I would have them separated if at all possible. I can't remember the girls names but there was a set of conjoined twins that were fine until one fell in love. It was sad for both sisters because one could date her bf and the other had to follow no matter what they did.

I also am facinated by conjoined twins. If you ever get a chance to go to the Mutter Museum in Philly it has quite a collection. Most that didn't make it to viability unfortunately but interesting none the less. What I noticed is that many also had cleft palates.

There is just something weird and unkind, about a Museum of physical OOPS.:(
Sorry Jules, just me. :) |

No worries, Sally. I understand where you are coming from but it is a serious medical museum and they have tons of antique medical equipment etc. I also felt like the actual human displays were done in a professional and respectful manner. My thoughts were that if the natural curiousity sparked by these exhibits encouraged a doctor or future doctor to investigate more about the different diseases it is a good thing. For example my observation of what appeared to be a connection btw. cleft abnormalities and conjoined twins. ;) |
