Default my friend's little dog

would you all mind saying some prayers for my friend's little dog.

she has 2 miniature long haired daschunds. they are litter mates, sisters.
sophie and streudel. they're 14y/o.

streudel has several bad discs in her neck and some arthritis so that is the problem. something is wrong with her leg and it's turning in. they think it's her neck. she got a shot of steroids (we can relate right?) yesterday.

jan ruled out surgery as it would be too hard on a doggie streudel's age.
she is home trying to keep her a quiet as possible. no stairs etc. she's definitely the more active one of the 2. she's all over the place, jumping on the couch, going out to the yard and scaring anything that moves away from the front door.

my friend is crying and terribly fearful that she might have to put her down.
they have never been apart and do everything together.

anyway, thanks for prayers that you can send out to her.
