I went to bed last night at about 130am...and actually fell asleep, and slept till 9am! (it's 9:07 right now)

I'm in shock! I've had insomnia for the past month that's kept me awake till 6 or 7am before I'd fall asleep.

I have to take my mom to an appointment in a little bit. I think I'm going out for breakfast!

Now, hopefully I'll be able to fall asleep earlier tomorrow and for the next five or six days. I'm going on a short weekend trip this weekend with the boyfriend. I want to be able to stay awake when we're sight-seeing.

I'm actually enjoying the day withOUT my mom.

Took her to the dentist for a root canal. I've got a few hours to be on my own today. (if you knew my mom, you'd understand why I'm happy to be alone a bit)

I cant believe I got sleep AND I feel rested! I dont feel like I didnt get any sleep. Strangely enough, my mom had insomnia last night. (I wonder if it's contagious, or maybe it just jumped to her and left me alone?)

She told me that she got about an hour, maybe two, of sleep. (this is karma, she wears Ugg boots, and is constantly stomping around, while I'm trying to sleep, on the wood floor that's above my bedroom.)

I actually slept well enough to dream. (weird dreams, that if I told you all about them, you'd all be backing away from me slowly before turning and running away) I dont feel all jet-lagged like I have been feeling lately. I hope this lasts for a bit.

I did have to take half of a sleeping pill to sleep last night, but it actually worked, rather than just making me feel a bit stoned.

Erin, I'm so glad for you. Sometimes we don't even know how much not getting a good night's sleep really stinks until we actually GET one! I hope it keeps up for you.

I didnt fall asleep till about 430 this morning. Even with the assistance of an entire pill of amitriptyline (I usually only take a half dose) I didnt sleep right away.

I guess the MS Trolls were giving me a freebie yesterday and now they're back to trying to drive me mad with the sleeping conditions. *grumble*

I'm going on a trip saturday. I really dont want to be half asleep the entire time because the Trolls like to stay up late.
