Default I gave blood before I was dx'd

I was watching the coverage of the hurricane and they mentioned the Red Cross.

That got me to thinking about when I use to give blood before I was dx'd. I think about if my blood was safe back then or not.

I had to get a blood transfusion earlier this year and I shudder to think about this stuff.
