I understand Judy~ My dear Mother was 79 and could run circles around me.

Hard to understand how fast things can change. Or have they really changed that fast??

It's like one day ''it'' kind of slaps ya in the face.

Hey, I got out of bed this morning and that's a GOOD thing. (Did I sound like Martha Stewart????)

I'll take it! Thanks Cherie.... You rock!
My prior post had more to do with my 'stinkin' attitude' then it did my researching ability . . . but thanks just the same.

Well, I only met dm's mom once and she wasn't feeling well, but she was definitely a whipper-snapper. However, I must contradict dm's claim that she has no energy. I call her "hummingbird" for a reason! The woman can move faster and more than any human should, and does it all within 5 sq. feet. If this is her slow, low-energy mode, I would have feared her at full speed ahead. As it is, I suspected a long time ago that speed was involved!

...and boy oh boy can she talk!...the woman talks faster than anyone I ever met! I was fascinated by the little thang! She was JUST like a hummingbird too! Hands moving every which way, feet moving the whole time! She's a ball of energy! I wanted to bottle her and take her home!

(we're lucky she didn't fall out the window! She'd have flown away!)

Thanks for the responses. It helps. Even w/all the goofing around I do, I still feel the pain of change. Who said "change" is good???
Despite my cocky answer in the previous post, I miss the good old days too!

The pain of change sucks!

Yep, and the pain of pain sucks too. My legs have just about quit on me but they still manage to hurt almost all the time. Stupid crappers.
