Default the cooliest thing
Last night I was in my second floor bedroom with my two youngest children.
They had just taken baths and showers and I was getting ds5 anthony
dressed.

I thought I heard a motorcycle and I said to anthony "look out the
window and see who or what is here".

He looked out the window and yelled "mama!!!!".

right above a large oak next to my bedroom was a huge hot air ballon.
I said "hey...soooo coool!" and he said"two more are coming". All
three landed in the huge field across from my house. I coulndt get
any pics because anthony was scared of the loud sound(they were
really loud, the three of them.)) he was freaking out.

My daughter ran out in her jammies with her older brother alex who
got a pic with his phone.

They were really pretty colors and designs, it was fun because usually
we only get wild life out here in the country.

Thats our excitement on a saturday night.

Neat, Sox.. We have a field near our home, where take offs and landings are made, so I have had them hovering close to me, too.. They are loud...that roarous puff of air..

The first time it happened, it sceeered the B-Jeepers out a me.. Sooooo Cool, though.

Never had an experience with balloons, but my sister used to have hang gliders land in the field behind her house. They fly off of Mount Magazine, the highest point in Arkansas, and soar over the Arkansas River valley. Someday.......

Tracey that IS so cool..............wish you had gotten pics....could you see them land?
Did someone come pick them up? Wonder if it was a planned landing or if something went wrong? What was the weather like at that time?

I would LOVE to go up in a balloon........how WAY cool........

Thanks for sharing with us.....I bet the kids will tell everyone they bump into about that lol....


BTW MSARKIE..........you ever been up on MT Mag? My SIL lives at the base and my DD got to go up and check it all out this summer....she tok some pics off a ledge .....I would have had a heart attack if I had seen her out there.....Her pics are beautiful....
